Where a law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on your consent, performance of a service you requested, our legitimate interests in operating a secure publication, compliance with law, or another basis permitted by applicable law.

4. Analytics, advertising and third-party services

We use Google Analytics to measure site usage, Microsoft Clarity to understand interactions such as clicks, scrolling and page rendering, and Google AdSense to serve and measure advertising. These providers may use cookies or similar identifiers and process device, usage and approximate-location data under their own terms.

Google sign-in may provide your name, email address and profile picture after you approve the sign-in flow. Cloudinary may host profile and publication media. We also use infrastructure, database, email and security providers as necessary to operate the service.

Review Google's Privacy Policy, Microsoft's Privacy Statement, and Cloudinary's Privacy Policy.

5. When information is disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers acting for us; to advertising and analytics providers as described above; when you direct us to share it; in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the service; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or respond to lawful process.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define personalised advertising or the use of third-party advertising identifiers as “selling”, “sharing” or targeted advertising. Where those laws apply, you may have additional opt-out rights.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here. Account information is generally retained while an account remains active and for a limited period afterward where needed for security, legal or record-keeping purposes. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Authentication sessions currently expire after seven days unless ended earlier.

Provider-controlled analytics and advertising retention periods may differ. Public-interest reporting and correction records may be retained to preserve the integrity of the publication. Residual copies can remain temporarily in backups and security logs.

7. Security and international processing

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to reduce risks such as unauthorized access, alteration and loss. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our providers may process information in India, the United States, the European Economic Area and other countries. Where required, transfers are handled using contractual or other legally recognized safeguards.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a copy or summary of your data, restriction or objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about disclosures. You may also have the right to opt out of certain targeted advertising and to complain to a competent authority.

  • Update available profile details through your account.

  • Manage Google advertising choices through Google Ads Settings.
  • Delete browser storage and control cookies through your browser. See our Cookie Policy.

We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Legal exceptions may permit or require us to retain certain information.

9. Children

TSN accounts and personalized services are intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect account data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
