Kore.ai Just Launched Artemis. Enterprise AI Has a New System for Running Multiple Agents at Once.

Kore.ai, the enterprise AI platform company founded by Rag Iyer, launched the Artemis Edition of its platform on May 22, 2026, positioning it as a native environment for building, deploying, and governing multi‑agent AI systems at enterprise scale on Microsoft Azure.
The Artemis Edition is a significant product evolution for a company that has spent more than a decade building conversational AI infrastructure for enterprise customers. The upgrade brings three capabilities that Kore.ai identifies as the primary obstacles preventing enterprises from moving beyond single‑agent proofs of concept into production‑grade agentic AI.
The first is native multi‑agent orchestration. Most enterprise AI tools today operate in silos: one agent handles customer queries, another manages HR workflows, a third assists with IT helpdesk requests. When a task requires multiple agents to collaborate ‑ passing context, delegating subtasks, and synthesising outputs — the coordination breaks down because the agents were never designed to communicate. Artemis introduces a structured agent‑to‑agent handoff framework that allows enterprises to design workflows spanning multiple specialised agents without writing custom integration code for each pairing.
The second is enterprise‑grade governance. Enterprises can deploy a new multi‑agent workflow from Artemis to production on Azure through a single‑click process from the Azure Marketplace.
Rag Iyer, CEO and founder, described the Artemis Edition as the response to a consistent pattern in enterprise conversations over the past eighteen months: companies have run successful pilots of single AI agents but have been unable to scale those pilots into systems that meaningfully reduce operational costs. The gap between a working demo and a production deployment that processes thousands of real transactions per day is, in most cases, a governance and orchestration problem rather than a model quality problem. Artemis addresses it at the platform level rather than leaving each enterprise to solve it independently.
The launch lands at a moment when the multi‑agent AI category is attracting significant institutional attention. Viktor raised $75 million last week for its AI co‑worker built inside Slack and Teams. ServiceNow, Salesforce Agentforce, and Microsoft Copilot are all building multi‑agent capabilities within their existing enterprise platforms.
